Account and Data Deletion

You can initiate account deletion directly inside the LoveLetter app. This page also explains what to do if you cannot access the app and what records may need to be retained.

1. Delete inside the app

Open the app, go to Account, choose Delete this account forever, and confirm in the deletion dialog. Deletion removes the account, relationship records, reply history, and the current phone session. It is not the same as signing out.

2. If you cannot access the app

If you can no longer sign in, send an account deletion request from your account email to support@justlove.work. To protect the account, we may ask you to verify email ownership before processing the request.

3. Records that may be retained

After deletion, we delete or de-identify the account and correspondence content. Some transaction, tax, anti-fraud, security, dispute, or legal-compliance records may need to be retained for a limited period.

4. Subscriptions are not automatically canceled

If your subscription is managed by the App Store, Google Play, or another payment provider, deleting your LoveLetter account may not stop future renewals. Please also cancel through the original purchase channel.
